RED BULL x JAAN ROOSE
Red Bull approached us with the idea of capturing Jaan Roose completing the longest slackline in Africa, while featuring and celebrating the local Samburu people.
Our response was to make a film featuring Migwa Nthiga, a Kenyan photographer who has worked alongside the Samburu for years. We filmed him capturing Jaan walking the slackline between the two iconic Samburu landmarks; Cat and Mouse, while hearing his insight on Samburu culture.
We shot the project over two days with multiple cameras, drones, and choppers. It was a complex production to pull off in a remote and harsh environment, with only one chance to capture the attempt.
