BUNNAHABHAIN: THE SOUND OF ISLAY

The Bunnahabhain distillery occupies a small bay overlooking the Sound of Islay. The whisky is eternally intertwined with the sea, with notes of the salty sea air and seaweed permeating every sip. “The Sound of Islay” film pays homage to the place that plays so much of a role in the making of the liquid. The soundtrack samples sounds from around the island and takes us on a journey beginning with the sound of the waves crashing against the distillery shore.

Alongside the main film, we supplied a concept film leaning further into the sampling of sounds, which was screened in the distillery as part of the tour. In addition to the two films, we supplied video and still assets for use across social media and online ads, which have been in use since 2019.
